SpotAware is a community-powered app that helps users avoid wasted trips by reporting non-working businesses, ATMs, government offices, or any temporarily unavailable place.
SpotAware helps people check recent community reports about temporary local conditions before leaving. Authenticated users can add a pin when the reported place is within 500 meters of their current location. Coverage depends on what people nearby have recently shared.
No. SpotAware does not display your identity on any pin you drop. Other users cannot see your name, email address, profile, or any account information associated with a pin. Pins only show the information you choose to share about the location, helping keep the focus on the place—not the person who reported it.
SpotAware helps you check recent local updates before leaving so you can make a better decision and avoid a wasted trip.
Authenticated users can add a pin when the reported place is within 500 meters of their current location. Add a short, genuine description of the temporary condition.

No. Pins remain active for 12 hours and display an expiration countdown. After expiration, they are no longer shown as active updates.
Guests can use a limited number of free pin views. After those views are used, they can still contribute pins but must upgrade to a monthly or yearly Pro plan to view additional pins.
SpotAware uses precise location to show nearby updates, support destination search, and confirm that a pin is being added near the reported place. Pin creator identity is not displayed publicly. See the Privacy Policy for current data-handling disclosures.
SpotAware is free to download. Guests receive a limited number of free pin views and may still contribute pins after those views are used. Monthly and yearly Pro plans provide access to additional pin views.
